Artist Development Coaching
Audition Coaching & Preparation for Theatre, Music, and College Programs
Whether you’re preparing for a school production, college entrance audition, professional casting, live performance, or on-camera opportunity, our private audition coaching helps students walk in prepared, confident, and memorable.
We train performers of all ages and experience levels, from first-time auditioners to advanced students pursuing professional work. Our coaching is welcoming and inclusive for all ages, levels, abilities, and learning styles.
Why Audition Coaching at Warren Music Academy
Warren Music Academy is not a plug-and-play talent program.
Every student is trained the way successful performers are trained, with clarity, accountability, musicality, and confidence. Students and families don’t come to us for “just lessons.” They come because they want results, guided by a community that is supportive, encouraging, and structured.
Warren Music Academy was founded by Don Warren, a veteran musician and educator who has recorded on more than 30 albums, is a voting member of the GRAMMY Awards, and comes from a four-generation musical family legacy.
Our coaching team works collaboratively, ensuring each student is supported by multiple expert perspectives and a shared standard of excellence.
Our faculty has helped students succeed in:
- College music and theatre program entrance auditions
- Lead roles in school and regional productions
- National and televised performance opportunities
- Recording artist showcases and studio auditions
- Worship team, band, and ensemble placements
- Vocal, acting, and instrument-based auditions of every kind
What We Coach
- Audition song, monologue, or material selection
- Delivery, expression, timing, phrasing, and stage presence
- How to stand out in a room full of performers
- Proper preparation timeline and audition strategy
- Confidence training and audition psychology
- Live auditions, pre-screens, self-tapes, and recorded submissions
- How to communicate with casting directors, faculty panels, and judges
If a student does not play an instrument or sing, we provide musicians and vocalists to support the audition material. Students may also combine audition coaching with
voice & singing lessons or musical theatre & acting lessons.
Our coaching is education-first, meaning students learn skills they can use far beyond a single audition.
