Calendar & Closures

This page outlines Warren Music Academy’s scheduled closures, holidays, and general calendar
structure so families can plan confidently throughout the year.
Our goal is to keep scheduling clear and predictable while maintaining consistent learning for students.

Weekly Schedule

Lessons are held year-round and follow a consistent weekly schedule. Students attend lessons on the
same day and time each week unless otherwise communicated.
Lessons continue as normal throughout the summer, with the exception of our scheduled summer break
listed below.

Scheduled Closures

Warren Music Academy closes twice per year for weeklong breaks:
• Holiday Recess: December 24 – January 1
• Summer Break: One week each summer (dates announced annually)
These closures are built into our tuition structure and are balanced by five-week months throughout the
year.

Holidays With No Lessons

There are no lessons on the following holidays:
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve
• New Year’s Day
• July 4th
• Labor Day
• Memorial Day
If a holiday falls on a student’s regular lesson day, lessons do not take place.

Weather-Related Closures

Weather-related decisions are handled separately and are covered in our Snow & Weather Policy.
Lessons typically continue even when schools close, with online or video options available when travel
is unsafe.

Calendar Updates

• Summer break dates are announced annually
• Any additional scheduling updates are communicated directly to families
• This page reflects our standard operating calendar
