Sing, Play, Grow – Music for Blossoming Minds
At Warren Music Academy, music education is so much more than just learning notes. We use the exploration of musical concepts to draw out your child’s creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
In our uplifting classes, your child will:
- Develop school-readiness skills in an active learning environment that feels like playtime!
- Gain focus and imagination through musical games and improvisation
- Build coordination and motor skills by acting out songs with props
- Learn to sing confidently in a judgement-free environment
- Forge friendships through dancing, singing, and laughing together
Music is our tool to shape your child’s growth in a positive way. Our devoted teachers nurture your child’s inner musician through the joy of rhythm, melody, and play.
We provide an antidote to excessive screen time. Here, real human connections are made as students learn musical concepts like beat, pitch, and harmony.
Give your child the lifelong gift of music education.
Enroll today to unlock your child’s creativity and watch their confidence bloom!
“At the heart of our music program lies the very foundation of what we stand for, a legacy of nurturing young minds, and empowering them with a lifelong outlet for self-expression.”
Benefits for your child
Social skills
Students will learn to work cooperatively alongside others, in a group, and communicate effectively and respectfully, to wait patiently, take turns, and respect each other’s physical space while they are moving about..
Cognitive
Improves cognitive skills, such as memory and concentration. Preschoolers show a growing ability to memorize and recall information, and present increased attention and focus.
Creative Expression
Through creative play, 3-5-year-old students learn to safely express their feelings and ideas through movement and music.
Gross motor skills
Music and movement activities enhance motor skills, such as hand-eye coordination and fine motor control.
Creativity and Problem Solving
Music and movement encourage imagination. Encouraging creativity helps kids develop problem-solving skills as they get older.
Listening skills
Musical movement games usually involve listening to and following directions. Children will also be actively listening in action songs and games. Building these skills before they are in school with fun music games is a valuable lifelong skill.
Language Understanding
Students gain a wider vocabulary and knowledge of story structures and learn how to decode and interpret symbols.
Preparation for later music lessons
Similar to language skills, this is an ideal age to start learning music by listening to it and imitating sounds. Preschool children who have a music education will have a strong basis for music lessons later.
A Thoughtfully Designed Curriculum for Joyful Learning
At Sing, Play, Grow, we thoughtfully design our curriculum using time-tested educational approaches that nurture children’s natural curiosity and promote joyful learning. Our teachers are trained in methods such as the Dalcroze, Kodaly, and Orff approaches which use music, movement and hands-on activities to engage multiple senses and learning styles.
We also incorporate theater games and dramatic play inspired by techniques from Commedia dell’arte, Carlo Goldoni, Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, Konstantin Stanislavski, and Jaques Lecoq.
This variety of methods allows us to meet each child where they are developmentally and build the foundation for their long-term success.
You can trust that we will provide an enriching, play-based environment where your child’s unique needs and talents will flourish.
